It is hard to believe that winter break is already here!  The Winter Sing is this Thursday and you have the choice of 2 different times to attend.  Please know that both sings are identical.
This week I sent information on the outdoor ed trip.  Please let me know if your child will be attending, or not attending this trip as soon as possible. If you can shoot me an email, that would be great!

There is NO spelling this week due to the busyness of the week.  The science quiz on Thursday will be open notes and packet on the nervous system only.  Please still have your child study, as they will be also studying for the final test on Friday.  I will be sending the nervous system quiz home with them on Thursday.  There are no diagrams except for the skeleton on the Final Test. 
Please make sure that your child is studying all the old quizzes and their concepts this week, including the bones.

I have been informed that for certain the roll out of the mini ipads will occur for certain after
January 17, 2014.  The decision of whether they will be able to go home this year is still to be determined.

Weekly Reminders

I have decided to not give out new novels until Dec. 20th.  Students can free read for the next 2 weeks.  I am requiring that 2 of the 7 days be Nonfiction text reads. 
Glogsters should be completed by tomorrow after Social Studies Class.  Tuesday is the Science Quiz on the Digestive System/ Teeth. 

Please try and make the parent meeting for details on our Outdoor Ed trip coming up this February.  It begins at 6:30.  If for any reason you can not make it, I will email you the presentation.  It will also be up on my webpage.

Next week is the Holiday Sing.

We are finalizing the Outdoor Education Parent Information meeting.  As soon as the date is set, I will let you know right away.  The date will be before winter break and the meeting will begin at 6:30 pm.
