This week

New novels went home on Friday.  Please check the pages that need to be read by Tuesday for book discussion groups.  

 

Next Monday, March 5, there is no school.  The following day, Tuesday, is the first day of ISAT testing.  Please make sure your child gets a good night sleep on Monday night, and eats a healthy breakfast on Tuesday.  I will post and send the testing schedule as soon as I receive it. 

 

The END of the 2nd trimester is this Friday March 2.  Reports will go home on Friday,

March 16th.

Change in Math Homework Tonight

If your child completed their survey today, their homework is to organize their data on pg. 190 and 192 in their journals.

If your child DID NOT get their survey completed, there is no assigned homework except to work on late work and corrections.

Tomorrow, the homework above will flip.

This week

Just a few reminders for this week.
1.  Outdoor Ed journals are due on Monday.
2.  Julian Orientation is this Friday.  We will leave at 8:30 and return around 11:30.  Students are to bring a BAG LUNCH on Friday.
3.  First Notecard Check is this Thursday.  Please make sure your child bring their notecards to school.

4.  Book Projects are due Next Tuesday with a half page summary.

Please return the permission form for Julian asap.  It will be coming home on Monday.

This Week

This week will be an exciting week for your child.  We will be leaving on Wednesday morning for the Dunes Learning Center.  Please label all big items so they are easy to identify for your child.  On Wednesday morning when your child arrives, they are to go directly to the auditorium.  They will stay there until we leave.  When we return on Friday afternoon, students will be dismissed at 2:55p.m.

                3-5 Facts on Fredrick Douglas are due.

Tuesday- Make sure all forms and money is turned in for Outdoor  
                Ed.

Wednesday- Come to school packed with a few good books to read.

                            Parents?  One more free night for you!)

Friday-  Back to Irving sometime after 12p.m.   Dismissal at 2:55 


Next week on Friday the 17th, we will be walking to Julian for a student orientation in the morning.  Permission slips will be coming home soon.  If all possible your child should come to school this day to visit Julian and learn a little about what they will be doing come fall.
